Top iOS Camera Apps

Today you will almost never see someone trying to snap a quick photo with their good old point and shoot. Instead your going to see someone whip out their phone to capture that once in a lifetime moment. In this post I will be going over the camera apps that I find essential to have on your iPhone all of which I use on a daily basis.

1. Instagram
Now most people who own an iPhone are probably already using Instagram but I still find it one of the most useful ios camera app available. Instagram adds visual effects to your otherwise plan picture and can make even the most amateur picture look extraordinary. My favorite feature is the ability to add filters to pictures before you take them which will give you a better idea of what the finished product will look like. Instagram is currently available in the app store but the release of Instagram for android is imminent.

2. Framographer
Framographer is a stop motion camera app that takes multiple pictures or(frames) and creates a video. The app does cost .99 cents but it is well worth it. It does get a little boring taking hundreds of pictures to make a short film but in the end you have a funny movie that will make all you android using friends red with envy.

3. Pixlr-o-matic

Pixlr-o-matic is by far my favorite ios camera app. This app is essentially Instagram on steroids with its added features and more fluid UI. Pixlr-o-matic has a number of custom filters with the ability to add special-effects and different styles of frames. I suggest this app to anyone who wants to add true beauty to their photos. Frames is free and available in both the app store and google play store.

4. Fast Camera
Have you ever experienced a moment when something truly awesome happens and right as the camera app opens that moment fades away, I know I have! With Fast Camera that will never happen again, what Fast camera does is takes hundreds of pictures right as you click the app to open it. This app is perfect for anyone one who likes to take mid-motion action shots and for the great price of free there is no reason that you shouldn't have this on on your i-device.
