Amazon reportedly releasing 3 new Kindle Fire models
In the fourth quarter of last year Amazon was able to take 14% of the tablet market with its newly released Kindle Fire. Well Taiwan Economic News reported that Amazon will not only release one next generation Kindle Fire but instead will release a total of three! Now that's a pretty hefty claim, but it would make sense for Amazon to release several models to reach different users and add on to their percent of the tablet market. Taiwan Economic News said that there will be a 7 inch low-end model with a 1024x600 resolution, a 7 inch model with a 1280x800 resolution, and finally a high-end 8.9 inch model that is rocking a 1920x1200 resolution. I guess you can say that Amazon finally realized that size does matter. While the current model of the kindle fire is 7 inches with a resolution of 1024x600 so any of these rumored models will be a well welcomed upgrade. It would also be great if Amazon could manage to keep the price under 300 dollars for the 8.9 inch model but I can't be too greedy. What do you think about this report? Do you welcome the upgrade, or are you still fine with your first generation kindle that isn't even a year old yet? Share your opinion in the comments below!
