| Possible, But Doubtful, Design for the PS4 |
Unfortunately I have to report some really bad news. Reportedly the PlayStation 4 will not allow the use of used games. This will happen by linking something, like a unique code for example, from the game to your PSN account. There will be no way around this because players must be connected to PSN when starting up their games. I see this as a very greedy move by Sony to generate more revenue. As a PlayStation user for life this is very disappointing. I do not like the direction Sony is moving. It is also rumored to not be backwards compatible to PS3 titles.
